Every human being is either a singer or a drummer by nature. I'm a drummer. My recent compositional efforts have introduced various body percussion elements into the music. Here is a little early Christmas gift for all my website supporters. It's a piece called "Me? Yes You!", because the final pattern we arrive at reminds me of that old rhyme "Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar?":
Try slapping knees on the low notes, chest on the middle, and head or cheek on the high ones. Repeat the pattern several times, alternating hands. You can download the entire piece by clicking on these links:
